Hi! I have read a thousand posts around the internet. However for my website it does not work. I own 3 ccTLDs but when i go to google.de for example, it gives me the TLD. no ccTLD in first 3 results. I have configured everything in webmasters and I am completely out of ideas.
Am I missing something?

Excellent content and thanks for publishing. We have done lots of research and also decided to deploy using method #3 – gTLDs with subfolders. Question is, and perhaps it’s obvious, but should we declare each of the target URLs (www.website.com/fr/) as a site in Google Webmaster Tools – or do we just define to gTLD??

For sure you can change en to es, I was just using (en & fr) as an example.

Great post. Translating in the next week or so and will use sub-directories. Just curious. On Spanish pages should I change the en to es at top of page. What do you think.
